The most generous developers are willing to pay more than $3. This is, for example, Kiloo Games studio with Subway Surfers game ($4.97) or Jelly Button Games with Pirate Kings title ($9.98).

However, there are few such generous ones. Most are willing to fork out a dollar or less. Interestingly, games with an extensive user base do not offer users anything at all. These are Clash Royale, Clash of Clans, King games, Game of War: Fire Age and others.

If this is more or less clear with successful games (they receive quite full-fledged traffic from other sources), then why do the same thing with failed games like Ketty Perry Pop is a mystery.
