The release of Legend of War, the announcement of Enyo from the authors of Card Crawl, as well as investments in a game streaming company are in our news collection for the day.
1. A curious Legend of War strategy has been released on iOS and Android. The development of the Japanese Game Craft Incorporated is a time manager with tactical combat in the spirit of a Clash Royale mix with Total War. And, of course, what a Japanese project without gachi!
2. The authors of Card Crawl from the independent studio Tiny Touch Tales have announced a new project – a step-by-step puzzle Enyo. The project, which grew out of the Hook & Shield jam game (you can play here), will appear very soon on iOS and Android. It is currently in beta testing.
3. It turns out that venture capital companies still have an interest in streaming games (it’s not about broadcasting gaming sessions, but about cheating game graphics on remote servers). The company Polystream, which is engaged in the creation of such a solution, raised $ 1.5 million. The company is formed from former employees of Criterion, Lionhead and OnLive. The latter was also a streaming service, whose assets were acquired by Sony in April 2015.
You can learn about the latest trends in the gaming industry first-hand, personally meet and discuss working issues with leading companies in the game development and publishing market at White Nights St. Petersburg 2016, which will be held on June 28-29.
