One line (Wednesday - April 20)
Microsoft is stopping production of the Xbox 360, the hardcore game Lost Sock will launch (hopefully) on Steam, and the Alchemic Maze puzzle by HeroCraft studio has appeared in the App Store.
1. The end of an era: Xbox 360 production is being closed. This was announced in a blog by Phil Spencer, head of the Xbox department at Microsoft. The model will remain in stores for some time, as the company is going to sell off the leftovers. But they are not going to produce new Xbox 360. Gamers will not be directly affected by this: Microsoft promises to support the console for now. Xbox Live servers for the 360 model will remain active.
2. Indie toy about socks Lost Socks: Naughty Brothers passes the approval procedure on Steam. If (fingers crossed) everything goes well, then this hardcore platformer will appear on PC. Recall that the title was made by the St. Petersburg Nerf Game studio. The release took place in March, and the App2Top editorial staff is still playing the game. About the history of the project in detail – here (and a big update on iOS is on the way).
3. Kaliningrad studio HeroCraft has launched a premium puzzle game Alchemic Maze. The gameplay is based on physics. The user is offered to guide the alchemical liquid through the maze by tilting the device back and forth. The liquid changes properties in the process. And the goal of the game is to save the alchemist, who turned into a monster because of an unsuccessful experiment. The puzzle has so far been released in versions for iPhone and iPad. It costs $2.99 or 229 rubles.
