Today’s issue: the leading game designer Gears of War makes a clone of Crossy Road, the release date of the game about the adventures of Gregory Eisenhorn has been announced, Kingdom Hearts will appear on mobile.
1. The founder of 3D Realms and one of the authors of Wolfenstein 3D, Scott Miller, together with the lead designer of Gears of War and Prey, Lee Perry, founded the Dream Team mobile game development studio. The first game of the team will not be a shooter, but a clone of Crossy Road — Boxy Kingdom.
2. The release date of the Steam version of Eisenhorn: XENOS, a third-person cross-platform action game in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, developed based on the book of the same name by Dan Abnett about the adventures of inquisitor Gregory Eisenhorn, became known. The game will be released on PC on May 19. The mobile version will be tightened until the end of 2016. The cost of the game will be significant for a cross-platform project of $ 25.
3. The Kingdom Hearts brand will appear on mobile platforms and in the West. On April 7, the English-language release of the conditionally free Kingdom Hearts Unchained X, previously available only in Japan, will take place. Despite its browser roots and F2P, the project promises to please with a good story and classic JRPG gameplay. In Japan, the project has been in the Top 50 box office iOS games for more than a year.
