One line (Tuesday - March 29)
Square Enix can take up the creation of logical GO puzzles for all its major franchises, Miitomo will be released in the US on March 31, and the Contra series will receive another mobile game.
1. It is quite possible that in the next few years we will see games such as Just Cause GO, Life is Strange GO, Thief GO and Deus Ex GO on mobile platforms. It became known that Square Enix has registered the relevant domains.
Domain registration “just in case” is standard practice for large companies. But, given the success of Hitman GO and Lara Croft GO, in this case, she rather talks about the plans of the Japanese company to continue developing the series.
2. The first Nintendo mobile application, which is something at the junction of a social network and a mobile game (sorry for the rhyme), will be released very soon in the USA (and it is possible that all over the world). The American release of the Miitomo project is scheduled for March 31.
3. Contra will get another mobile game. There are not very many details yet. It is called uncomplicated — Contra Mobile. Tencent and Konami are responsible for the project. As far as the trailer can tell, in terms of gameplay, the game has not changed very much over the past couple of decades. But I got polygonal graphics and PvP mode. Whether it will be released outside of China, how it will be monetized, and so on is still unknown. Recall that in 2013 Konami has already released a mobile remaster Contra with the subtitle Evolution.
