Croteam has released the source code of Serious Engine to the public. This is the engine on which Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter were created. Whaleo studio has announced a fabulous adventure/puzzle/survival game (yes, that’s how they position themselves) under the name Widower’s Sky. In the game, father, son and dog explore the planet. Visually, the game vaguely resembles a mix of Monument Valley and Journey.
App Annie bought an excellent analytical service AppScotch, which allows you to monitor which advertising platforms other developers use, how much they pay for advertising and which banners they use. The amount of the deal is unknown, but in early January, App Annie raised $63 million for various acquisitions.
