Over the past year, the income of the authors of Boom Beach and Hay Day increased by 37% – from €1.5 billion in 2014 to €2.1 last year.
Most of the amount was most likely earned thanks to Clash of Clans, the highest-grossing mobile game of last year according to App Annie.
The company’s profit before tax payments, interest on loans, bond loans and depreciation (EBITDA) increased by 63% compared to the same indicator a year earlier, amounting to €838 million, The Wall Street Journal reports.
The company did not mention net profit. The owner of 73% of the shares — the Japanese company SoftBank — Supercell paid €603 million as dividends last year.
