1. The Unity blog has an article on how to properly and effectively promote homemade assets. The techniques were shared by developers who have earned $75 thousand in total since October 2015. In short, it all boils down to three main points: communicate with the community (to understand what the target audience wants), respond to feedback and spare no time to create high-quality promotional materials.
2. Geenapp, as part of its own marketing platform of the same name, launched an online tool for tracking CPI indicators in different countries. One of the advantages is a convenient, simple interface. They don’t charge money for the opportunity to use this particular feature. Let’s add that as of February 15, the highest CPI figures on iOS are in Japan ($2.56 for iPhone and $2.73 for iPad) and in Germany ($2.39 and $2.76). The lowest are in India (0.55 on both iPhone and iPad). CPI on Android is lower everywhere than on iOS.
3. Crescent Moon Studio announces a new toy. This is Stellar Wanderer – an RPG in a space setting and with an open world. The title will be released on iOS on February 18. There is no release date on Android yet. Let’s add that Crescent Moon is only a publisher here, and the developer was the Romanian indie team Dream Builder Studios.
