Publisher and developer of mobile and social games Zynga has published the financial results of 2015. It follows from the figures that an increasing part of the company’s revenue comes from mobile games.
The fiscal year for Zynga ended on December 31, 2015 with sales growth of 1%. However, sales in mobile games accounted for 73% of this amount, which is 13% more than last year. Sales in social projects fell by 32%, and the average MAU of these projects decreased by 54% compared to the 4th quarter of 2014.
The average value of mobile MAUS fell by 21% over the year, but sales in Zynga’s key mobile projects – Slots, Words With Friends and Poker – increased by 63% over the year, and the audience grew by 1% over the last fiscal quarter of 2015.
