TopTraffic: the newer the mobile OS, the higher the conversion rate
The amount of conversion of clicks to installations directly depends on the version of the operating system, – experts of the digital agency TopTraffic came to such conclusions as part of their research.
According to their data, on devices with iOS 9.1, the average conversion rate is 40% higher than that of devices with iOS 8.

The “new OS – more conversion” attitude is also true for Android-based devices.
“The “fresh” 5.1 Lollipop and 6 Marshmallow firmware have a conversion rate almost 30% higher than on the outdated 4.4 KitKat,” TopTraffic reports.
