Titanfall will appear on mobile devices
Mobile games on the Titanfall universe will appear on iOS and Android.
In order to release the projects, the creator of the original game, Respawn Entertainment studio, will join forces with the Korean publisher and developer Nexon. Both companies have already invested an unnamed amount in the mobile developer Particle City. Over the next few years, this studio will be working on mobile projects based on Titanfall.
Note that the co-founder and one of the leaders of Particle City is Respawn CEO Vince Zampella.
The release of the first game is expected in 2016. Nothing is known about the genre yet. The development team does not disclose whether the game will remain a shooter, as its prototype.
Titanfall is a multiplayer first-person shooter. The beta version of the game appeared in February 2014 and, according to some reports, gained 2 million unique users. The final version of Titanfall was released in the spring of 2014. As of October 2, 2015, 10 million copies of the game have been sold.
