The mobile version of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons has been released
One of the brightest and most poignant console games of 2013 – adventure Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons – appeared on the App Store today, October 22.
Two years ago, this project by Starbreeze Studios, previously famous for The Enclave and The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, unexpectedly turned out to be one of the central releases.
The game came out without fanfare. Its main feature the developers themselves called the need for simultaneous control of two heroes at once, two brothers traveling through a fantasy world inspired by Scandinavian fairy tales.
Most of all, the project from the outside resembled a three-dimensional logical platformer with cute, but, as it seemed, not outstanding (it was too muted from the screenshots) graphics.
And, in fact, it was.
Chic graphics on mobile, however, do not wait
But there were also two moments that brought the project, conditionally, to the top league.
Firstly, the stunning atmosphere of a real fairy tale, where the main character is not a handsome prince or a demigod who kills entire armies with a wave of a sword or an axe, but, in fact, defenseless children wandering through the harsh world of giants, trolls and werewolves-spiders.
Secondly, the fact that non-standard management turned out not to be the whim of an experimental designer, but an important tool for communicating history. Without him, the game would not have given the strongest emotions.
And now this project is also available for mobile users. In the Russian App Store, it can be purchased for 279 rubles.
