Games for Apple TV will require remote support
Apple has changed the rules for Apple TV developers. Now any game under tvOS must support the remote control, which is equipped with “Apple” set-top boxes.
If the game does not support it, but only works with a controller (gamepad), then the project will not be allowed in the App Store of the console.
Recall that a couple of days ago in the guide for developers for tvOS, Apple mentioned that games for Aple TV may not work with the remote control, and require an MFi controller to work, which must be purchased additionally.

However, The Next Web edition writes that it should not be surprising if in the near future Apple changes its position again and creates a special section of projects requiring a gamepad in the Apple TV gaming store.
Well, being the organizer of White Nights Moscow 2015, we cannot but mention that a closed master class dedicated to working with tvOS will be held at the conference.
