The Summoners War game has been downloaded 40 million times
The title Summoners War from Com2uS has gained 40 million downloads a year after launch. The company shared information about this in a press release on the official website.
Summoners War is a game originally “sharpened” for an Asian user. In Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan, the project was launched in April 2014 on Android and in the summer on iOS, after which it almost immediately hit the top of the charts.
At the beginning of the year, the American division of Com2uS began to promote the game on Western markets. A “point” marketing strategy was developed for the game.
The target audience was residents of the city of Los Angeles. The project was promoted with the help of the stars of the Vine video network and videos featuring the famous street artist.
Rating of downloads of the Com2uS game in the American App Store
According to App Annie, the project is not even in the top thousand downloads in the USA.
However, the head of the American branch of Com2us Casey Lee (Casey Lee) claims that the marketing campaign was successful. In the company’s press release, he noted that he considers the method used with Summoners War to be effective.
