YouTube has removed monetization from DrDisrespect’s channel amid significant allegations directed at the streamer

Guy 'DrDisrespect' Beahm, a well-known streamer and influencer, is facing increased disassociation from partners amid accusations related to his previous ban from Twitch. YouTube has now halted his ability to earn revenue through his channel.

A spokesperson from YouTube shared with Kotaku that monetization on DrDisrespect's channel was suspended due to breaches of the platform's Creator Responsibility policy.

The channel, which has 4.7 million followers, has been removed from the YouTube Partner Program following "serious allegations" against Beahm, and this action extends to any channels he might establish in future.

The allegations came to light when The Verge reported accounts from a former Twitch trust and safety team member, alleging that Beahm was banned for sending inappropriate messages to a minor and attempting to meet them at TwitchCon.

Beahm responded to the report stating that the issue was already resolved and denied any misconduct. After being permanently banned from Twitch in 2020, he filed a lawsuit against the platform, which was settled in 2022.

This week, Midnight Society, the game development company Beahm co-founded, announced it had ended its association with him. Additionally, Turtle Beach, a gaming peripherals company, has also severed ties with the streamer.
