Vice President of Twitch monetization: giving 70% of income to streamers is unprofitable in the long run
Mike Minton stated this during TwitchCon. According to him, the distribution of income under the 70/30 scheme will allow everyone to “earn as long as possible.”
Miton doubts that Amazon will intervene in the situation with an increase in the commission for popular streamers to 50%, since the company wants Twitch to be financially independent.
