Sony support has confirmed that players must reimburse discounts when increasing the subscription level in the new PlayStation Plus
A letter from the Hong Kong support service was shared by one of the ResetEra users. It says that players who once bought PlayStation Plus at a discount and now want to upgrade to a more advanced level in an updated subscription should compensate for the resulting difference. The service will calculate the required amount automatically.
Sony has not yet commented on other subscriber complaints.
