Animoca Brands announced the takeover of Pixelynx, a musical metaverse with games
Hong Kong-based Animoca Brands has acquired a controlling stake in Pixelynx. She did not disclose the amount and terms of the transaction.
Pixelynx opened in 2020 under the direction of Joel Zimmerman, Richie Hawtin and several other musicians. The authors of the platform unsubscribed Pixelynx as a place where “the boundaries between music, blockchain and games are blurred.”
Animoca Brands has previously invested in Pixelynx. Last December, she led a $4.5 million funding round.
