Mobile Metaverse apps earned $650 million in six months
Almost the entire amount went to the games. According to Sensor Tower calculations, they accounted for 94% of user spending in such applications for the first half of 2022.
Roblox became the undisputed leader of the half-year. He alone generated 70% of the revenue of metaverse games. He also collected the most downloads (the exact share is not disclosed).
It should be noted that during the first half of the year, mobile metaverse applications were downloaded 170 million times in total. The games were responsible for 110 million downloads.
