The MTV Video Music Awards will begin awarding concerts in the metaverse
As part of the MTV Video Music Awards, a new category has appeared — “best performance in the metaverse”. The organizers decided to add it after they noticed that artists are increasingly holding concerts in virtual worlds.
The list of nominees for 2022 includes, for example, Twenty One Pilots (performance in Roblox), Blackpink (performance in PUBG Mobile) and BTS (performance in Minecraft).
