Soomla will help developers find "whales"
Soomla, the creator of the open source framework of the same name, has launched the Whales Report service. It will help mobile game developers look for paying players for their projects. Soomla reports about this in its blog.
The essence of the service is as follows. Developers who have installed the Soomla SDK in their applications can join the SOOMLA GROW network. Data about users who spent money on their games will be sent to this network. In return, the developers themselves will receive information about paying big players (“whales”).
The data will include the size and dynamics of spending, favorite projects of the “whale”, the duration of gaming sessions. The developer will be able to send push notifications to the player and “sharpened” IAPs specifically for his needs.
The creators of Soomla emphasize that the user ID will not be disclosed at the same time. All data within the Whales Report service will be available to developers for free.
We should add that the company reported that it received $5.5 million of investments specifically for the development of Whales Report. The name of the sponsor is not called, it is known that this is a “multi-billion dollar gaming corporation”.
