About the Team

I, Stanislav Vetokhin, am working on the project alone. I've been involved in games for about six years. On this project, I handle game design and technical implementation, and I manage the visual aspects of the game both independently and with contractors' help. Currently, I'm developing the game with my own funds. I'm based in Russia. Previously, I've developed my own games for mobile stores and web platforms.

About the Project

My project is called THE ENTERTAINERS. It's a horror blend of FNAF and Papers, Please. The player must inspect animatronics, decide which robots to let pass, which to destroy, and survive 12 nights. The idea arose during my studies in the Game Project Management program at HSE.

I am currently developing the first prototype with one playable night. The development is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2027. The engine is Unity.

About the Gameplay/Mechanics

The gameplay is similar to Dollmare, The Cabin Factory, and FNAF. The player inspects animatronics on a conveyor belt, looks for defects, and decides whether to pass or destroy the animatronic. If a defective animatronic is passed, it might return and try to attack the player. Each animatronic requires a unique method of handling.

About the Target Audience

The game targets fans of mascot horror, FNAF enthusiasts, and those who enjoy inspection mechanics in games. The main references are horror games like Dollmare, The Cabin Factory, That’s not my neighbor.

About the Business Model

This is a premium game for Steam. The playtime is 3-4 hours. I am aiming for sales similar to those of its reference games.

About the Metrics

The game has not been announced yet, so there are no metrics available at this time.

Who I'm Looking For

I am looking for a publisher who would handle marketing, publishing, testing, and localization. Funding for the project is not required. It would be a plus if the publisher has expertise in horror games and understands the mascot horror audience.
