To date, over $169,000 has been accumulated, with the initiative scheduled to conclude on August 13, with just a week remaining.

Earnings from the bundle will benefit a hardship fund unveiled by the United Videogame Workers (UVW-CWA) union on July 6. The fund is financed through payments from the union's members and features two levels of assistance: the Small Fund, offering up to $1,000, and the Major Expenses Tier, which ranges from $1,000 to $5,000.

The UVW-CWA hardship assistance is open to all individuals affected by layoffs or similar challenges, irrespective of their union membership status. The support can be used to cover various costs, such as living expenses, rent, healthcare fees, and relocation expenses.

Recently, the Bethesda Game Studios union, OneBGS, mentioned that one member utilized the hardship fund to finance moving expenses following mass layoffs at Xbox, which affected 440 union members.
