In 2025, Google blocked over 270 million advertisements related to both regular and gambling activities

Google regularly removes advertisements from its services that violate its policies. According to the company's latest report, last year it removed a total of 8.3 billion ads, of which 270.7 million were related to games — both standard and gambling.

Google also reported that it decided to partially restrict access to an additional 123.9 million ads in the "Gambling and Games" category for various reasons.

According to Google, 99% of non-compliant ads were removed from the services before being shown to users. The corporation was assisted by artificial intelligence tools, including Gemini. It is currently continuing to improve its technologies and hopes that in the future it will be able to handle "even the most sophisticated schemes" without significant issues.
