Adjust: downloads of mobile adventure games in Turkey increased by 89% in the first half of 2025
Adjust recently released a report on the state of the mobile app market in Turkey for the first half of 2025. We've selected the main findings related to gaming.

- Turkish mobile gamers are playing more. According to Adjust, compared to 2024, game downloads increased by 4%, and the number of gaming sessions rose by 12%.
- Adventure games showed the strongest growth in downloads, being downloaded 89% more in January-June 2025 than during the same period in 2024.
- Rounding out the top 5 categories for download growth were RPG idlers (+55%), RPGs (+37%), casual games (+32%), and board games (+28%).
- Nevertheless, hyper-casual games remained the most downloaded in Turkey, accounting for 28.6% of the half-yearly downloads. Second place went to hybrid games with a 9.5% share. Actions completed the top three with a 9.3% share.
- In terms of gaming sessions, musical games led (28.7%), followed by action games (21.5%) and RPG idlers (9.7%).
- In the first half of 2025, a single gaming session for Turkish mobile gamers lasted an average of 32.8 minutes. A year earlier, their duration was slightly less—31.14 minutes. For comparison, the global average for the half-year was 29.99 minutes.
- The retention rate in Turkey was lower than the global average. Specifically, D1 in the country was 19% (worldwide — 26%), D7 was 5% (worldwide — 12%), D14 was 3% (worldwide — 7%), and D30 was 1% (worldwide — 5%).
- Card games (25%), family games (25%), and puzzles (23%) showed the highest first-day retention rates in Turkey.
