Tripledot Studios has officially become the owner of the AppLovin game studios
AppLovin announced the completion of the sale of Machine Zone, Belka Games, and eight other gaming studios. As of June 30, 2025, they officially belong to the British company Tripledot Studios.
The deal amounted to approximately $800 million. The sum is comprised of two parts: Tripledot Studios paid $400 million in cash and the equivalent amount through 20% of their shares.
Recall, it became known in February that AppLovin decided to sell its gaming teams and focus on its advertising business. At that time, the company didn’t reveal the buyer's name, but media discovered that Tripledot Studios was a likely candidate. AppLovin and Tripledot Studios publicly announced the agreement in May.
