We're sharing details about the lecture program at the WN LiveOps Summit, which will be held very soon in Belgrade

Next Thursday, on April 10th, an event dedicated to video game operations will be held in the capital of Serbia. In this article, we will briefly cover the talks that will be presented at the WN LiveOps Summit.

A total of 11 presentations are scheduled within a single track, running from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time. The speakers include both local teams, such as PLAYSTUDIOS and Nordeus, and companies well-known for their box-office hits, like Playkot, MY.GAMES, and Nexters.

Below, we will highlight some of the speakers and their presentations:

  • Grigory Sokolov from DECA Games, currently managing the operation of mobile classics such as Kingdoms of Camelot, Underworld Empire, and Dead Trigger, will give a talk titled “How to Conduct LiveOps for a 13-Year-Old MMORPG”;
  • Julia Skripnikova from Playkot will share a case study on the importance of incorporating user feedback using SuperCity as an example. Her presentation is titled "Player Co-Designers: How Feedback Led to the Evolution of LiveOps.”
  • Alexander Gubanov from MY.GAMES will discuss which operational practices in War Robots proved to be game-changing from the perspective of a monetization manager. His talk is titled “What We Learned on Our Way to a Billion Dollars.”

Cyril Barrow from Yarnhub Animation Studios will also speak at the summit. Previously, as one of the general managers, he was responsible for Electronic Arts’s mobile studios and served as vice president of operations at Rovio for a considerable time before that.

A key activity at the WN LiveOps Summit will be a roundtable focused on the Serbian indie scene. Participants will discuss challenges, successful case studies, and how the current global situation impacts local development.
