PUBG Mobile has reached another milestone, reaching over $8 billion in lifetime revenue. Tencent-developed battle royale remains one of the biggest mobile games in the world.

  • According to a Sensor Tower report, there are just a few other mobile titles that have reached the $8 billion mark, including Tencent’s Honor of Kings, Mixi’s Monster Strike, and Supercell’s Clash of Clans.
  • In the first quarter of 2022, PUBG Mobile generated $650 million globally, only behind Honor of Kings with $741 million. These games are followed by Genshin Impact ($567 million), Roblox ($319 million), and Candy Crush Saga ($306 million).

  • China, where PUBG Mobile is localized as Game For Peace, accounts for $4.7 billion, or 57% of the game’s total revenue. It is followed by the US (11%), and Turkey (4%).
  • Speaking of the store share, the App Store accounts for 81% of PUBG Mobile’s lifetime revenue. Outside China, where Google Play is officially banned, the App Store has a 56% share.
