A mobile game about raising a child attracts $1.5 million in investments for advertising and development
We continue our series of publications about games seeking investments or a publisher. Next up is an article about the mobile parenting simulator Best Parent.

Nikita Dolya, CEO of Best Parent, shared details about the project.

About the Game
Best Parent is a mobile game about raising a child where you can create your own little one and guide them through all stages of growing up—from infancy to adulthood.
Throughout the game, the child grows and encounters many interesting situations where you, as a parent, need to find solutions. You have to purchase numerous items for the child that provide various attributes and unlock new opportunities. You must take care of the child by teaching, feeding, treating, and playing with them.
Players can decorate unique locations: a nursery, a house with a yard, a Christmas kitchen-living room, etc. The game also features quests, talents, and a bit of fantasy.
Game Monetization
We are not interested in ad-based monetization. We sell diamonds to players, which they can use to gain energy (the main resource needed to play the game), accelerate actions, purchase special items for the child, and more.
Energy in the game is required to take care of the child and to spin slots. Our game features casual slots, which is a secondary part of our gameplay. Slots in mobile games have proven effective, as shown by the example of Coin Master, which recently surpassed $6 billion in revenue. There was an article about this on App2Top.
Our slots are quite sophisticated, but unlike Coin Master and similar games, we are not a social casino. The age rating for Best Parent is 3+ on Google Play and 4+ on the App Store.
We have excellent relationships with the Apple and Google teams—we always pass moderation within minutes. We advertise the game globally without any restrictions.
Target Audience
The game primarily appeals to adult women. Many of our players are enthusiastic about Best Parent: they play through the game multiple times and make hundreds of purchases. It turns out that statistically, adult women constitute about 80% of the mobile slots audience.
About the Team
We have a small team: a founder, an art director, four artists, two programmers, an animator, and a marketer. They are all geniuses. Gathering them required significant effort. The team is motivated and incredibly resilient. Everything you see is created with limited financial resources. You can't imagine what we could accomplish with sufficient funding. Hiring and managing the team is our strongest skill.
Current Results
So far, we have developed 749 versions of the game. We've experimented a lot and found our growth points. Almost all our traffic is generated from advertising purchases on Google Ads and Facebook*. We don't rely on organic growth. Our main task is to maximize the return on every dollar spent on advertising. To date, we have spent $50,000 on advertising and reached break-even. We have gathered around 60,000 installs.
Our main advertising partners are Google Ads and Facebook*. We purchase ads worldwide. As of now, Best Parent has received purchases from players globally, from almost every country in the world. This is inspiring and indicates that people with vastly different mentalities love Best Parent.
Some of our players spend over $1,000 in the game and would spend even more if we had more content for them.
Goals
From the beginning, our goal was to become one of the world's top games. Despite the challenges we face, we steadily advance toward this goal.
For a long time, Best Parent could be fully completed by spending just $300 in-game. Now, completing the game requires about $2,000. We aim for players to potentially spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in Best Parent.
We constantly monitor the most effective mechanics in the world's most successful games and slowly incorporate the best into our own. Approaches may change, but the core idea and goal remain unchanged.
Required Investments
We aim to attract $1.5 million for advertising and game development. We need to purchase more ads while concurrently adding many new amazing levels to deepen the rabbit hole. We have a precise plan we follow, and investments could significantly accelerate our development.
