Games industry raised almost $200 million for Ukraine, with 73% of this sum coming from Epic Games

Players and game companies across the globe have been donating money to humanitarian aid in Ukraine ever since Russia sent troops to the country on February 24. The industry has raised almost $200 million for these efforts so far.

According to a report from Levvvel, a total of $195,258,400 has been donated or pledged across different fundraisers.

Epic Games is the biggest contributor right now. With help from Microsoft, the company raised $144 million from Fortnite revenue in two weeks.

Here is a list of some other companies, which donated money to help the people of Ukraine:

  • Epic Games & Microsoft — $144 million
  • Humble Bundle — $20.7 million
  • Necrosoft (itch.io bundle) — $6.3 million
  • Riot Games — $5.4 million
  • Embracer Group — $5 million
  • Sony — $2 million
  • Supercell — $1.6 million
  • Wargaming — $1 million
  • Moon Active — $1 million
  • 11 bit studios — $850k

Of course, many other developers and publishers have made donations to different charities and humanitarian relief efforts. The list includes Unity, CD Projekt, Ubisoft, Playrix, Zynga, IO Interactive, Bungie, Techland, Square Enix, Bandai Namco, and Remedy.
