Ubisoft says no personal data of players was accessed after “cyber security incident”
Ubisoft has shared a new update on last week’s “cyber security incident.” The company is now investigating the issue, which affected some of its games.
According to a blog post, this cyber attack made by intruders caused disruption to Ubisoft’s games, systems, and services.
“Also, we can confirm that all our games and services are functioning normally and that at this time there is no evidence any player personal information was accessed or exposed as a by-product of this incident,” the statement reads.
Ubisoft has already reset passwords across the company. After it managed to bring back its services online, it started an investigation with the help of “leading external experts.”
