Unity offers companies an exemption from fees. You can get it by abandoning AppLovin and other third-party monetization services
The media reported that those gaming companies that will start using the Unity LevelPlay Mediation advertising platform will not have to pay a fee from each download.
This is reported by MobileGamer with reference to its own sources (thanks to Eurogamer for the tip). One of the developers said in a conversation with the publication that Unity “just wants to kill AppLovin.”
Studios that use LevelPlay have already received a 100% exemption from the Runtime Fee. Unity account managers have explanatory conversations with developers who use AppLovin or other UA platforms.
They suggest developers to abandon the use of third-party solutions in favor of LevelPlay. Developers who do this are promised either a complete exemption from fees or a reduction to a minimum.
