Rumor: Quantic Dream reportedly working on Star Wars Eclipse set 200 years before original films

A rumored Star Wars game developed by Quantic Dream will reportedly be titled Eclipse. The project, which is set in the golden age of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi, might be revealed before the end of this year.

Journalist Jeff Grubb shared new details about the game during the latest episode of GiantBomb podcast. He believes that Star Wars Eclipse is “ready to be announced soon” and might be presented at The Game Awards or during Disney’s Bring Home the Bounty campaign (via GamesRadar+).

According to Grubb, the Eclipse project is set during the High Republic era, a period of time that hasn’t been presented in the movies yet.

First rumors about the game started to circulate in September when a few sources said that Quantic Dream has been working on it with Disney for about 18 months. However, both companies haven’t commented on it.
