Nine Inch Nails guitarist and Spec: Ops designer start ‘arthouse’ game studio EYES OUT
There is a new “arthouse game development studio” called EYES OUT. It was founded by Nine Inch Nails guitarist Robin Finck and veteran game designer Cory Davis. The team is already working on its first title, which will be a cosmic horror game.
According to the EYES OUT website, the studio is “comprised of passionate world-builders and storytellers who believe in the powerful synesthesia that emerges from music, narrative, and interactive experiences.”
Robin Fick, who began scoring for video games in 2014, and Cory Davis, who previously worked as creative director and designer of Spec Ops: The Line, became EYES OUT co-creative directors.
According to Bloody Disgusting, the studio is now developing a single-player immersive cosmic horror game with “strong environmental storytelling elements.”
