Winners announced of G-Core Labs multiplayer indie game contest
International provider of cloud and edge solutions G-Core Labs announced the five winners of its contest for the best online indie game.
1. HordeCore by META Publishing
HordeCore is a side-scrolling shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world.
2. Neyon Clash by Reaktor Berlin
Neyon Clash is a Real World Multiplayer Action Game, developed by the Reaktor Berlin Gaming Studio with the aim to encourage young people to be more active and less idle. It is a mixture of a digital paintball and an outdoor lasertag. The game is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI).
3. Car on the Run: Epic Chase by Amilcar Technologies
Car on the Run: Epic Chase is a retro style blac-and-white experience where you have to survive waves of increasingly deadly law enforcement as you drive your getaway vehicle from a bank heist.
4. Cyber War — Fight To The Last Man by Viktar Karpuk
Cyber War — Fight To The Last Man is a multiplayer shooter focusing on player vs. player gameplay. Each player controls an armored hover vehicle with the objective of destroying enemy troops or capturing the opposing team’s base.
5. Lost Region by Farom Studio
Lost Region is a third person survival action game, with multi and singleplayer elements. The game supports up to 100 players per session and co-op missions for up to 4 players.
Out of 67 projects submitted, G-Core Labs selected five that stood out due to their innovative nature and clearly defined outcomes and milestones.
All the participants will get $1,000 to spend on the premium infrastructure from G-Core Labs, while each of the five winners will receive $5,000 to power up their online projects.
