Capcom announces Resident Evil CGI show
In addition to a Resident Evil live action series announced in August, a CGI show focused on the franchise’s Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield is coming to Netflix.
Capcom announced the series at Tokio Games Show 2020. The show called Infinite Darkness is set to debut in 2021.
Earlier, Netflix confirmed a Resident Evil live action adaptation, which will follow two timelines. In the first one, fourteen-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker will move to New Raccoon City to discover that the town is more than it seems. The second timeline will fast forward to more than ten years later, when less than fifteen million people survive against monsters infected with the T-virus. Jade, now thirty, will be one of the survivors.
