Microsfot reveals Xbox Series S and names its price, insiders leak other details
“The smallest Xbox ever” will cost $299. This is coming from Microsoft itself that revealed its Xbox Series S (previously codenamed Lockhart) and confirmed its price and design.

Xbox Series S is a cheaper and slimmer counterpart to Microsoft’s other next-gen console Xbox Series X.
After the surprise reveal by Microsoft, insider Walking Cat posted the reveal trailer for Series S.

The leaked trailer confirmed that the console doesn’t have a disc drive, can run next-gen games at up to 120 fps and 1440p on a custom NVE SSD. As for its size, Series S is 60% smaller than Series X.
According to Windows Central, both Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X will launch on November 10, 2020.
Sony, in the meantime, has not revealed the price and the launch date for PS5. However, now that Microsoft has shown its hand, it shouldn’t be too long before the Japanese tech giant does the same.
