Financial Times: Gismart is one of Europe's six fastest growing companies
Yesterday, the Financial Times published top 1000 European companies that achieved the highest CAGR in revenue from 2015 to 2018. At number six is in the FT 1000 ranking is Belarusian-British publisher Gismart.
Over three years, its absolute revenue growth amounted to 8,788.3%. In 2018 the company’s revenue was € 57.6 million, this is up from 2015’s €790 thousand. That places its revenue CAGR at 346.3%.
While the report is silent on the publisher’s 2019 revenue, given its CAGR, it could very well be around €250 million. In any case, over the past twelve months, the company doubled its headcount from 150 people to 300.
In 2019, Gismart dramatically changed its focus. Previously, the company focused on the launch of music entertainment apps and games. Since last year, it has concentrated on the development and publishing of hyper-casual titles.
