My Friend Pedro sells 250,000 units in its first week
A quirky balletic 2,5D shooter inspired by flash games was launched on June 20 and has by now cleared over 250,000 sales across PC and Switch.
The title single-handedly developed by one-man studio DeadToast and published by Devolver Digital features a lot of gore, slow-motion pirouettes and the eponymous banana mentor figure.
Devolver Digital released a behind-the-scenes video to celebrate the title’s great opening week.
You can currently purchase My Friend Pedro on Steam at a discounted rate as part of Summer Sale that has caused some distress among indie developers.
