Marketing expert Eric Seifert has launched a $10 million fund to invest in startups related to games and mobile advertising
The fund is called Heracles Capital. He has already secured the support of 38 investors, including Supercell, CEO of Huuuge Game and former director of products for Google advertisers. By the way, the latter joined the foundation “30 seconds” after the pitch.
According to Seifert, it all started with the fact that two years ago he created a special channel in Slack. The experiment was successful. Together with other experts, he conducted 10 transactions in nine months. However, when the number of channel participants exceeded 400 people, the community became an “administrative nightmare”, so it soon had to be closed.
The Heracles Capital Fund has been operating unofficially since last October. At the moment, he has 14 transactions on his account.
