Playable advertising goes into mobile marketing trends
Mobile advertising with the ability to try out a game or an application is gaining popularity among advertisers, according to a study by the analytical firm AdColony.
Types of advertising that advertisers are most interested in in 2017
According to AdColony, 71% of advertisers consider playable ads to be an effective type of advertising, and 45% called this type of promotion the most interesting in 2017.
Despite the approval, only 4% of marketing budgets are directed to the production of playable advertising.
Advertisers consider video ads to be the most effective way to promote applications — 50% of advertising campaign budgets are spent on them.
The results of the same survey showed that advertisers are less interested in traditional media: 58% of respondents reported a reduction in spending on TV advertising. 68% cut spending on outdoor advertising. 70% reduce budgets for radio advertising and print ads.
The study was conducted on the basis of a survey in which more than 250 application developers participated. 75% of respondents were game developers.
