Google has banned encouraging users for rating

The new rules for publishing applications prohibit advertising in notifications, and also prohibit encouraging users with virtual currency for rating. 

The other day, the Internet corporation sent out a letter to Android developers. It contains new rules for publishing apps on Google Play. 

In our opinion, there are three main points.

• advertising is prohibited in system notifications and in icons on the home screen; 
• permission for any change of system settings must be obtained from the user; 
• it is forbidden to encourage users with virtual currency or bonuses for rating. 

30 days are given to correct these points.
