FDJ United reported a drop in half-year revenue due to taxes and lottery setbacks

The French operator FDJ United has published its financial report for the first six months of 2026. The company's revenues have declined.

As reported by FDJ United, its revenue this time amounted to €1.78 billion, down 4.5% year-on-year. Additionally, the company's gross gaming revenue (GGR) fell by 1.3% to €4.31 billion.

FDJ United's management attributed the decline to increased taxes in France, Romania, the UK, and the Netherlands. It is estimated that this cost FDJ United approximately €52 million.

Another reason for the decline was unsatisfactory results from the lottery business: its revenue decreased by 4% to €1.02 billion, and GGR fell by 2.1% to €2.98 billion.

The online betting and gaming segment, meanwhile, showed stable GGR at €702 million, but its revenue decreased by 7.4% to €431 million. The segment earned the most money in France and the Scandinavian countries.
