The court refused to declare the authors of PIONER bankrupt

There's a new development in the crisis involving the GFA Games studio. This time it's positive: the Moscow Arbitration Court dismissed the bankruptcy claim against its Russian legal entity, LLC "GFAGAMES".

To recap, this claim was submitted at the end of May by the Federal Tax Service of Russia in the Kirov region. The trigger was believed to be a significant debt owed by the developers of PIONER, who were several tens of millions of rubles in debt to the Russian treasury.

Notably, the "Companium" counterparty verification service's database still indicates that GFA Games has underpaid the country's budget by more than 32.7 million rubles. Why the court decided to dismiss the bankruptcy case is unclear, but it's possible that the studio committed to settling the debt soon or somehow proved its solvency.

GFA Games has not made any public comments on the matter.
