In the Civic Chamber, it was revealed that two-thirds of respondents agree that the country's authorities should support Russian developers. This support is particularly advocated because games can be used as a "soft power" tool to promote ideas. Meanwhile, 25.4% of surveyed Russians stated that supporting game development is not a government responsibility.

The main issue facing the Russian gaming industry, according to 28.6% of respondents, is a shortage of experienced specialists. Other significant problems include a lack of investment and funding (24.5%), difficulties in entering domestic games into the international market (18.8%), and dependence on foreign technologies (18.3%).

Additionally, 61% of respondents informed the Civic Chamber that when choosing games, they consider the ethical reputation of developers and the presence of microtransactions.

A total of 491 people participated in the survey.
