Epic Games is suing U.S. residents Idris Nahdi and Ayob Nasser. The lawsuit alleges that they inflated the audience for their islands in Fortnite using numerous bots that accessed the game via cloud services, pretending to be real gamers. This scheme purportedly allowed Nahdi and Nasser to earn several tens of thousands of dollars from Epic Games.

The company suspected foul play when it discovered that 80% to 99% of visitors to various islands by Nahdi and Nasser did not play any other games within Fortnite. Consequently, it suspended their payments. Notably, the activity on their islands sharply declined once the accused stopped receiving funds.

Now, Epic Games wants the court to require Nahdi and Nasser to compensate for the damages and to ban them from accessing Fortnite servers and any of its other projects.
