The Google Corporation is not giving up in its efforts to come out on top in its confrontation with Epic Games. Now, it has decided to appeal to the country's Supreme Court.

Google has filed a complaint with the lower courts that previously handled the case. According to the corporation, they exceeded their authority when they mandated Google to relax Google Play's rules. Furthermore, Google believes that the court decisions made during the Epic Games versus Apple dispute should have been taken into account during this process.

Google plans to submit a full appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court by October 27, and in the meantime, it is asking for an extension on the deadline for lifting restrictions on developers.

Previously, Google was ordered to, among other things, stop forcing developers to use its payment system, allow them to set their own app prices, and permit them to inform users about alternative payment methods. Additionally, Google must allow competing stores into Google Play.

Epic Games has not commented on Google's actions.
