Paramount has entered into an agreement with Activision to create a live-action film based on the Call of Duty video game franchise

Activision's successful Call of Duty series is set to be made into a live-action film by Paramount, following a newly signed agreement.
As reported by Variety, this collaboration will enable Paramount to "develop, produce, and distribute" a movie adaptation of the popular video game series, although financial details remain undisclosed.
David Ellison, chair and CEO of Paramount, expressed his excitement over the project, describing it as a "dream come true" for a fan like him.
Ellison stated, "From the initial Allied missions in the original Call of Duty to the Modern Warfare and Black Ops installments, I've spent numerous hours immersed in this series that I adore. Bringing this extraordinary storytelling to cinemas is an honor and a responsibility entrusted to us by both Activision and fans globally."
Rob Kostich, president of Activision, commented on the franchise's global appeal and its history of captivating narratives and dynamic action, which will be sustained with this film venture.
Kostich remarked, "Partnering with Paramount will allow us to bring the thrilling Call of Duty action to moviegoers. The film will build upon the elements that have made the game beloved, and we are eager to begin."
Details about the production and the film's scope remain scarce, though it is speculated that the agreement may include television adaptations as well.
