In an upcoming case related to harassment allegations at Ubisoft, CEO Yves Guillemot is scheduled to appear before a French court. This follows the recent trial where three past executives of the company received suspended sentences for harassment-related charges.

In a case concluded in July, former Ubisoft leaders Serge Hascoët, Tommy François, and Guillaume Patrux were convicted of psychological and sexual harassment by a French court, resulting in suspended jail terms and fines.

According to BFMTV, as cited by VGC, Guillemot is required to be present at the Bobigny court on October 1, 2025, in connection with the ongoing proceedings.

This summons was initiated by the union Solidaires Informatiques and involves the same parties as the previous legal proceedings.

Ubisoft stated to GamesIndustry.biz that a union and four individuals have summoned the company to appear on October 1, concerning the same incidents previously tried in June.

"Despite thorough examination by the Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that no criminal actions would be pursued against Ubisoft or its leadership," Ubisoft remarked, reaffirming their commitment to cooperating with the legal system during this process.

Reports of widespread misconduct within Ubisoft emerged in 2020, prompting investigations, and in 2023, five former executives were detained by French authorities after an extensive probe into allegations of sexual misconduct.

Commenting on the company's response to these serious issues, Cecile Russeil, Ubisoft's executive vice president, emphasized the importance of protecting employees, advocating for strong preventative measures and a zero-tolerance stance on sexual or moral harassment and any form of discriminatory behavior.
