Epic Games has concluded its antitrust lawsuit with Samsung, reaching a settlement with the prominent technology firm.

The gaming company had previously initiated legal proceedings against Samsung, arguing that a collaboration between Samsung and Google undermined the conclusion of its earlier antitrust litigation against Google which Epic emerged victorious in December 2023.

Epic claimed damages as a developer, alleging that Samsung's inaccurate assertions negatively portrayed Epic’s applications, labeling them as obscure and insecure. These allegations, Epic stated, not only tarnished its reputation but also resulted in customers opting not to download its applications, leading to a loss in potential revenue from in-app purchases.

Tim Sweeney, the CEO of Epic, announced via social media that the company is "dismissing our court case against Samsung following the parties' discussions," and expressed appreciation for Samsung's willingness to address their issues.

Meanwhile, the legal proceedings with Google remain ongoing.
